At a glance
Affordable steel sheets are easiest to compare when the grade, thickness, dimensions and delivery arrangements are clear. A lower purchase price can be useful, but it is not enough to establish whether a sheet is suitable for a roof, fence or temporary building. This guide looks at building-materials yards in Mazovia and the Łódź region, the types of sheets and accessories they can supply, and the role of second-grade or used materials. The branch addresses and stock figures quoted below come from the article published on 12 January 2023; they describe that offer, not today’s complete branch network or inventory.
Buying steel sheets around Warsaw and Łódź
Warsaw has numerous building-materials merchants, including yards on the outskirts. A location outside the city may still be convenient for collection or delivery. The 2023 article highlighted Błonie, approximately 30 km from central Warsaw and closer to its western boundary, and Dzierżenin near Serock. It also mentioned second-grade sheets in Radom.
For customers in the Łódź area, the article pointed to Natolin near Nowosolna. A closer yard can reduce travel time and delivery expense without requiring a different type of material. The most economical choice depends on the order and destination.
Ask the sales team about the specific use, available grade and complete order. Practical advice is especially useful when comparing a new first-grade sheet with a cheaper second-grade batch.

Sheets, flashings and other products
The range described in the article included coated flat steel sheets in thicknesses from 0.5 to 1 mm and different RAL colours. A commonly listed format was 0.5 mm sheet measuring 1,240 × 2,000 mm. Availability of each thickness, size and colour needs to be checked when ordering.
- First- and second-grade trapezoidal steel sheets.
- Standard flashings and flashings made to the required dimensions.
- Steel containers and pavilions for storage, guard booths or temporary offices.
- Modular industrial steel-hall systems for projects in Poland.
When second-grade or used sheets can reduce costs
Lower-cost sheets may be considered for construction-site fencing, canopies protecting stored materials, sheds, site cabins or garages. The intended use still has to match the condition and technical suitability of the actual batch. Damage, previous fixings and weather exposure can matter; being inexpensive does not make every sheet suitable for every roof or permanent structure.
The assortment and locations listed in 2023
The original offer advertised 200,000 m² of sheets available from stock. This is a historical stock statement, not a current inventory reading. It also listed roof and wall sandwich panels with PIR, PUR, EPS or mineral-wool cores; PIR insulation boards; bituminous roofing membranes; clay and concrete roof tiles; modular tile-effect roofing sheets; and wall cassettes and panels. SOLROOF was presented as an integrated photovoltaic roof option.
The article gave these three collection locations:
- Łódź: Natolin 8, on the road towards Brzeziny.
- Błonie: ul. Sochaczewska 138A, described as approximately 30 km from central Warsaw.
- Dzierżenin: Dzierżenin 34E, described as approximately 50 km from central Warsaw.
These are the locations recorded in that dated article, not a claim that SteelProfil currently has only three branches. Confirm the collection point, material availability and delivery conditions for your order.
