SBS bituminous roofing membrane MIDA TOP PV200 S5 — cap sheet is a rolled waterproofing material made from SBS-modified bitumen with a polyester nonwoven reinforcement. The specified layer, thickness and roll size identify this particular product. Choose the membrane as part of a compatible roof build-up, taking account of the substrate, adjoining layers, laps and junctions. A cap sheet and an underlay fulfil different roles and should not be substituted solely because their dimensions look similar. Follow the manufacturer’s current installation documentation for the selected product and project.
