Thermano ETICS 160 mm
Thermano ETICS is a composite insulation board for external walls finished with a thin coat of render. The 160 mm board combines a 140 mm rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) core with a 20 mm outer layer of expanded polystyrene (EPS). The EPS face can be sanded before applying the reinforced base coat, following the instructions for the chosen insulation system. Each 1200 × 600 mm board covers 0.72 m². A pack contains 3 boards and covers 2.16 m². The manufacturer gives a thermal resistance of 6.58 m²·K/W for the complete board.

Application and installation
Use the board on external masonry walls in new construction or renovation. Butt the straight edges tightly together. Select the adhesive, fixings, reinforcing mesh and render for the specified external wall insulation system.
Choosing the thickness
The range includes 100, 120, 130, 140, 160 and 180 mm boards. The thermal conductivity of 0.023 W/(m·K) applies to the PIR foam. To calculate the U-value of the wall, take all its layers into account.

Installing the boards on a façade
Quantity and delivery
Divide the wall area to be insulated by 0.72 m² and round up to a whole board. Allow separately for offcuts and the number of boards in each pack.
