Layers of a rendered external wall
From the inside out, the diagram shows a load-bearing wall, the termPIR ETX board fixed with adhesive and mechanical fixings, reinforcing mesh embedded in the base coat, and a thin-coat render. The manufacturer specifies that the printed side of the board faces the wall. Use adhesives, fixings and render specified for the chosen façade system.
Material and handling
The glass fleece provides a textured surface for the ETICS build-up. The manufacturer declares compressive stress of at least 120 kPa at 10% deformation. Keep the boards protected from weather during storage and installation. The assembled wall’s fire performance depends on the complete system.
